We had an ambitious milestone of reaching 850,000 members in AAA Oregon/Idaho. When we finally achieved it (at the peak of the pandemic, no less), we had to come up with a fun, engaging way to celebrate that didn't involve potlucks and festooning the office.
One of the activities was an interactive quiz of pop culture and current events from 2005, which is when we initially set the goal.
We also set up a professional video shoot with our three executives and included messages from managers of the various service centers. It gave everyone a chance to highlight the various actions/initiatives their teams had undertaken to reach the 850k goal. In keeping with the video theme, we scheduled a few virtual screening parties to watch old and new monster movies together. [There were two versions of the yeti in 'Netflix-n-Chill' mode, but Luke was my favorite.]
The whole idea of the yeti evolved around the president's appreciation of Yeti drinkware. Everyone received a bright white tumbler with the 850k program mark and logo in silver.
In addition to the movies and trivia quiz, there were team game nights. Code Names was a huge hit, and there are plans for doing more of these game nights even after we all go back to the office.
