CME Outfitters produces dozens of jointly-accredited education activities per year. Site architecture was critical: Learners would need multiple ways to sort and filter learning content based upon the practice (cardiology, neurology, gastro, etc.), the type/style of activity (live/in-person, live/recorded, podcast, webinar), duration, resources available, and number of credits available. I was responsible for the initial needs assessment, architecture modeling, functionality/behaviors, and general styling.
With CE Concepts being a kind of 'sister' site to CMEO, we leveraged everything we learned from the original build, and added a few more ways for the team to build and promote new patient portals. Both of the sites were fully integrated with our learning platform to ensure continuity of content and a seamless experience for the learners.
The KnowFully Learning Group provides an excellent growth environment for successful CE/CPE/CME companies to draw upon successes of the other businesses. They can also benefit from the economies of scale that would be difficult to achieve otherwise. A great example is ChiroCredit and OnlineCE. They had technically merged several years ago. But if you were looking for ChiroCredit's learning content, you would end up at OnlineCE. Using all we learned from a recent redesign of freeCE.com, learners will now visit individually branded sites on the front end, with powerful integrations under the hood.
